Mindy Thiesen, the One Body Wellness Coach, has over 20 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry working as an educator, healer, coach, and facilitator. Drawing on a rich professional background that includes personal and group fitness training, Pilates, Holistic Lifestyle Coaching, Posture & Flexibility training, massage therapy, and mindfulness meditation, Mindy uses her knowledge and skills to lead classes and personalize programs to help people achieve optimum health and wellness. She specializes in helping women with weight loss, reducing stress levels, and living a more balanced life in body, mind, and heart. Mindy is uniquely gifted in drawing on a variety of systems and tools and simplifying them in a way that makes it easy for her clients to understand and apply in their daily lives.
In addition to teaching her personalized Body Balance classes and privately coaching clients, Mindy is the creator of the “How To Calm An Anxious Mind” program. At the age of 19, Mindy had a drug-induced nervous breakdown which sparked a decades-long struggle with anxiety. Over the years, working with mental health professionals, health practitioners of Eastern and Western medicine, healers, and spiritual teachers, Mindy developed a one-of-a-kind Create Calm Life Model that she applies in her life every day which has helped her to manage and overcome anxiety. She now shares and teaches this program to individuals and groups to help people who are struggling with anxiety or stress.
Mindy does her best to embody and be an example of her teachings. She practices daily meditation, healthful eating and exercise, and empowering mindful practices. A lifelong student, she continually evolves her practice with the latest methodologies and findings that support health and wellness in a holistic way. She is currently writing a book on her “How To Calm An Anxious Mind” program. When she is not teaching, coaching, or writing, you can find her cooking, playing in the outdoors with her family and friends, or practicing piano and singing.
